DESCRIPTION : The are rectangular units fabricated from a soft annealed zinc coated wire mesh. Along with mattresses, gabions can be used for earth retention structures; river flow management etc. These units are filled with stone and become large, flexible, permeable  elements from which a broad range of structures can be built.
